Wildland Rescue Drill

The Ancram Fire Company along with the Taghkanic Fire Company trained together Tuesday evening. Members familiarized themselves with gear and equipment. Hiked an area off of Doodletown Road in efforts to practice locating a victim in a wooded area, package the victim for transport and rescue. Members of both companies made use of all terrain vehicles and were able to hike majority of the trail to simulate the physical need when performing a extrication from a wooded area.
