| Early Monday afternoon, firefighters responded to a reported motorcycle accident. The individual had fallen off his bike and needed help at the intersection of Skyline Road and Pooles Hill Road. 79-44 and Ancram Car 1 responded with Community Rescue Squad and State Police to the scene. The extent of injuries necessitated the need for a helicopter landing at the Ancram Town Hall. 79-20 responded to setup the landing zone, with Ancram Cars 1 and 3 along with 79-44 relocating after the person was loaded into an ambulance. Please drive safely and when riding a motorcycle, we really encourage wearing a helmet. |
