Vehicle Fire on Dam Road

At approximately 8 am on Tuesday morning, a pickup truck traveling on Dam Road caught fire engulfing the truck. The occupant was able to get out without injury and called 911. Members of the Ancram Fire Company responded quickly to extinguish the blaze. The quick speed and severity of the fire destroyed the vehicle before members arrived to douse the flames. Once the fire was out members were quick to pick up and return the fire apparatus to quarters because of freezing conditions that day.
