79-20 for the Ancram Fire Company is our first due attack truck. This truck has the ability to quickly get setup for streching hose to the fire. 79-20 is supplied with a thermal imagining camera, carbon monoxide detector, gas meter. multiple types of lights from a tower light controled remotely, tri-pod stand lights, portable box lights and lots of personal hand lights. Ventalation saws and fans for smoke control, multiple size ground ladders, and lots of hand tools are some of the many items this truck carries. This truck really lets our members get a hold of a fire scene quickly and setup for success with support from the other trucks. |

79-30 for the Ancram Fire Company is our Pumper tanker. This truck is best suited for pumping water from a water source be it a portable pond or a natural water source, but also has the versatility to be apart of a tanker shuttle or assist with vehicle accidents. This truck seats one driver and passenger but carries almost any tool you need. This truck also has the flexibility to dump the water from its 2000 gallon tank from either side or rear. In the event that 79-20 is unavailable this truck can fill the position of attack truck giving our members the greatest edge for the situation that calls for this truck. |

79-31 for the Ancram Fire Company is our Tanker. This truck carries the most amount of water in the fleet, it can deliver the water to any scene that needs it. This tankers 3000 gallon portable pond can hold the whole trucks worth of water while it begins its route of getting more from a water source. 79-31 holds one driver and three passengers allowing a crew to remain on scene while a driver shuttles water. The tools and water this truck carries, allows this to be a obvious choice when assisting neighboring districts where not all our trucks may be going. This tanker is our newest addition to our fire company. |

79-44 is the Ancram Fire Companies primary rescue truck. Designated for anything vehicle accident related this truck become a mobile tool box, bringing with it a massive array of hand tools to larger pieces and even hydraulic cutters and spreaders. This truck also carries with it a compressor to refill SCBA bottles while on scene carrying a driver and 4 passengers making this an excellent choice for supporting other trucks at a fire. |

79-60 is the Ancram Fire Companies all terrain vehicle. This vehicle doesnt carry any water but its usage comes into the brush fires, lost or injured hikers out in a hard to reach area. 79-60 has a trailer and is brought to scenes by our utility truck 79-70. A support bar is placed into the hitch to extend the bed for a stokes basket allowing our members to drive an injured persons that are farthest from help. Our ATV can also move members, hose and equipment quickly around a large brush fire to help get control making it a wonderful support vehicle. |

79-66 is the Ancram Fire Companies brush truck. This Hummer has been outfitted with a 300 gallon tank and pump to allow this truck to move almost anywhere to put out the fire or get a water supply. This truck carries lots of packs of hoses, hand tools and saws to wildland operations. This truck helps clean up roadways with its saw and tools after major storms with debris or with lots of snow covered roads this truck can make it there with is four wheel drive. |

79-70 is the Ancram Fire Companies utility truck, this pickup can carry members and equipment to scenes, help slow down traffic on roadways, or trailer 79-60 to its destination. 70 is equipped with a tool box with pull out drawers that carry signs, road flares and traffic cones in the event of a traffic accident to help guide traffic and also carries the bar for 60 to use the stokes basket. It also is used to carry gear and equipment that will need to be cleaned after a fire that members dont want to put back into the firetruck dirty. |

The Ancram Volunteer Fire Company has a chief and two assistant chiefs, each officer has a command or chiefs vehicle passed on to them at the time they take that responsibility. Each chief vehicles has pieces of equipment to help assist the firefighters coming into the scene. they have signs and road flares to slow down traffic in a given area, hand lights and radios, cones to mark driveways, water sources or help guide traffic. These vehicles are used quite often around our town for fire prevention, transportation of tools and equipment and of course emergencies. |
